“ZAIY·再一建筑” starts from architecture and extends toward the world.

ONE & MORE refers both to reconsidering “One” and to allowing “One” to grow into “More.” We live within concrete histories, places, and times; therefore, every building is a re-building, every observation a re-observation, and every thought a re-thinking.

We remain conscious of the value of architecture as an autonomous discipline, while also recognizing that architecture always takes place within a world beyond architecture itself. Social history, everyday life, lived experience, and memories of time all constitute an inseparable part of its reality.

ONE concerns architecture as architecture itself; MORE points toward the world in which architecture takes place. ONE & MORE seeks to work continuously between the two, rethinking architecture and life through practice, observation, and writing. We believe cooperation holds greater practical value than competition. We remain positive, open, and optimistic in action, believing that embodied practice has meaning in itself.

Ultimately, architecture is also a way of living, a way of looking at the world anew and understanding life again.
